On Sunday, November 3, 2019, we opened the doors of 82 Afton Parkway and began serving and sharing the love of Jesus Christ with the Cradock community in Portsmouth, Virginia. 6 years later, GOD HAS ENLARGED OUR TERRITORY!!! As of Monday, August 18, 2025, our ministry has expanded into our neighboring facility, 80 Afton Parkway and we have officially launched the "82/80 Project." Through this endeavor we intend to accomplish 3 goals...

Goal #1 - Increase the size of our current sanctuary in 82 Afton Parkway to accommodate our growing congregation.

Goal #2 - Transform 80 Afton Parkway into a space that will accommodate youth ministry and the continuation of projects and programs that service the Cradock community.

Goal #3 - Honor the life and legacy of our founder and overseer, Bishop Spencer H. Riddick, Jr. by naming the newly renovated facility, "Riddick Hall."

However, in order to accomplish these goals, WE NEED YOUR HELP!!! Below, we have listed some of the amazing things we have accomplished as well as some of the amazing ways we have impacted not only the Cradock community, but the city of Portsmouth since opening our doors. We are asking that if God has blessed you through our ministry, our partners, our pastor or our founder in any way, that you will prayerfully consider donating a monetary gift to assist us with the completion of this major expansion project. We thank you in advance for any contribution, no matter how big or how small and we love you to LIFE!

• We are the official home of the Cradock Civic League, hosting their monthly meetings in our facility since 2022.

• Pastor Mike served on the board of directors for the Cradock Community Development Corporation.

• We have hosted multiple "Community Closet" events to provide FREE clothing and footwear to individuals and families in need.

• We have distributed over 3,400 bags of perishable and non-perishable foods to individuals and families throughout the Cradock community.

• In 2024, we distributed almost $24,000.00 in financial assistance to individuals, families and other non-profit organizations throughout the Hampton Roads region.

• Our Women's Ministry raised and presented $1,500.00 to aid in the work of the H.E.R. Women's Shelter.

• We have adopted an elementary school in the city of Portsmouth, that we provide annual financial support and volunteers to serve students and staff when needed.

• We have sponsored youth to attend summer camps throughout the city hosted by the Portsmouth Police Athletic League and Hard Times Skate Shop.

• We have committed to the financial requirements to become Life Members of the N.A.A.C.P. Portsmouth Branch.

• We connected with the Portsmouth Consortium of Churches who meet monthly to pray regarding families, community, city leaders, churches, school administration and violence in the city of Portsmouth.
